A quick guide to how custom cakes are priced.
Before you inquire
Orders start at $250
Every cake is made to order by a classically trained pastry chef, so a cake is priced very differently from a grocery or bakery-case cake. Our minimum order is $250, and larger cakes or more elaborate designs can cost significantly more.
How a cake is priced
Servings
Price is built around how many guests you're serving. More servings means more cake, more tiers and more time.
Design
A simple, elegant finish costs less than hand-painted work, sculpted shapes, or sugar flowers, which are made one petal at a time.
Flavors & fillings
Fresh, from-scratch flavors and specialty fillings or ingredients can adjust the price.
Delivery
We deliver within 40 miles or 1 hour of Stamford. Delivery and setup are quoted with your cake.
A quick example
A custom cake takes the same design, baking and finishing time whatever its size, so even a small cake for 10 guests begins at our $250 minimum, or about $25 per guest. From there, larger cakes and more detailed designs are priced to fit the work involved.
